I'm Chef GG!

 

I built my meal prep service around a simple idea: People deserve meals that taste like they came from a real kitchen, prepared by a real chef. Too many meal prep services and restaurants or catering operations sacrifice flavor for convenience, so I set out to deliver chef-driven meals that are high quality and consistent, while still being approachable. Each week's menu is built intentionally with bold, balanced flavors inspired by American favorites and global cuisines. The result is a constantly rotating menu of meals that support busy schedules, active lifestyles, and everyday routines without sacrificing flavor or craftsmanship.

My Story

I started my foray into the food service industry at McDonalds at age 15. I worked full time through high school into college. When I went to college and studied Environmental Science, Philosophy, and Business Admin, I helped pay my way through by running the concession stands on campus and working in the cafeteria. After graduating, I worked as an Environmental Consultant specializing in pharmacy sterility testing and hazardous materials construction management for 4 years, but the culinary life drew me back in. I looked forward to the events I would host at my house more than my day to day job. I dreamed of one day opening my own food truck or restaurant, and realized I would need to go headfirst into the industry to see if I could cut it.

 

I quit my job, sold my house, and moved all across the country with the love of my life, who would later become my wife. I worked in a variety different cities and cuisines, ranging from small Italian restaurants in New Haven under the umbrella of Joe Bastianich and Mario Batali, to harbor side seafood in Olympia Washington where the fish was brought in freshly caught, to pumping out hundreds of sauces from scratch and thriving on the line at the Cheesecake Factory, and eventually leading the kitchen at a French bistro that focused on pastries and delicious desserts!

I realized running catering operations for someone else, and living under the restrictions of owners who cared more about profit than the customers was no longer fulfilling me, so in 2025 I started Chef GG LLC. This business grew from a passion for cooking, and a belief that great food should be both accessible and practical for real life. Over time, I realized the biggest challenge for many people wasn't wanting better meals, it was finding the time and energy to consistently prepare them. At the same time, many meal prep services offer food that feels repetitive, overly processed, or disconnected from the creativity of a real kitchen. 

I set out to build something different: a chef-driven meal prep service designed around smart systems, thoughtful menus, and high-quality ingredients prepared with skill. For me, it means I can flex my creativity, showcase my hard earned talents, and work directly with my satisfied customers. For my clients, it means they can rely on flavorful, balanced meals that support their work, training, and daily life without the time, planning, or cleanup of cooking themselves.

I now also provide fully customizable in-home dining experiences to suit any occasion, as well as catering for offices and corporate events big or small. I work with my clients to exceed expectations and create a welcome change from the monotonous unchanging catering options they have become accustomed to.
